The correct body posture can change your life

Did you ever wonder, what is the key ingredient of confidence? What helps one think more clearly?

Well, the answer to this is simple! It is, the correct body posture. Studies conducted in the past shows that people who sat up straight were more confident, less nervous and more focused. They had a higher retention ratio and were better qualified for most jobs. They appeared more serious and fit descriptions for the company's positions.

Those who would slump were more likely to have a shorter focus span and appeared to be less confident and more nervous. Richard Petty from Ohio State University shows through his studies that our body posture does not only affect what others think of us, but also of what we think of, of ourselves.

Petty conducted a study with a graduate student from Ohio State University where randomly selected students were asked to answer a few multiple choice questions. It was found that students who sat up straight were more confident of there first selected answer while those who would slump were more likely to be indecisive between answer options.
